This is a lovely set of twelve dinner plates made in London in 1788 by William Pitts. The dinner plates are in the traditional shaped gadrooned pattern which was extremely popular in Britain throughout the 18th century and is very elegant. This set of dinner plates all have a lovely original crest engraved to the top of each plates and they all bear fully matching hallmarks. Furthermore each plate has its original Individual scratch weight and number engraved to the underside.
