This magnificent pair of silver gilt salt cellars were made to the very highest quality. The design is heavily inspired by a design by Paul Storr and one that is extremely elegant. They have cast and applied decoration around the entire salt and a beautiful shell and gadroon border. Each salt weighs almost 12oz which is very substantial for an item of this size. Overall these are a fabulous pair of salts made to the highest quality that have survived in wonderful condition.
